Salt Lake City Airport is about 4 miles to the west of the city center of Salt Lake City in Utah, United States. Color lights indicate the type of parking that is available. Green denotes general parking availability, Blue denotes parking for people with disabilities, Yellow denotes parking for electric vehicles, and Red denotes parking that is not available.

Parking on-site at Salt Lake City Airport is a convenient and dependable option. The airport offers the closest parking lots to the airport terminal, whether you select the hourly/daily parking garage or the economy lot.

The PGS at the airport can also assist in finding a stolen vehicle. Download the PARK ASSIST mobile app to use this feature. Park&Wait is another name for the cell phone parking lot. The lot is situated west of Terminal Drive, just southeast of the Terminal. In addition to providing sizeable electronic flight information signs displaying flight arrival information, Park&Wait provides an alternative terminal or parking in the hourly/daily parking lot. Drivers are encouraged to abide by the airport's idle-free policy in the Park&Wait Lot.

Leaving the East and heading west on 80

• Head west on I-80 and exit at 115B for Salt Lake City Airport.
• When merging onto Terminal Dr., use the left lane.
• Take the left door toward the gas station, service plaza, and Park&Wait areas.
• After passing the service station, the cell phone lot will be on your right.

Leaving the West and heading east on 80

• Head east on I-80 and exit at 115 for the airport.
• Continue onto Terminal Dr. by keeping your left.
• Take the left door toward the gas station, service plaza, and Park&Wait areas.

Motorcycles and vehicles are treated equally at Salt Lake City Airport. No matter how many bikes there are, parking costs are the same. They are even permitted to park in designated areas on the property. Every parking garage has spaces that are open to you. Motorcycle parking is allowed in any of the lots at the SLC Airport. For arriving and departing passengers at SLC, separate pick-up and drop-off areas are available. Passenger drop-off for the terminal's third level occurs on the elevated roadway. When approaching the airport, continue straight on Terminal Drive to reach this road. On the ground level, the far-left lane is for pick-up. Drivers must not exceed a 13-foot height restriction in front of the SLC terminal to pick up passengers.

Drivers can wait for arriving passengers in the airport's accessible Park and Wait Lot until they are ready to be picked up. The lot is situated west of Terminal Drive, just southeast of the Terminal. We encourage motorists to abide by the airport's idle-free policy in the Park.

• Anyone picking up arriving passengers inside the airport is encouraged to wait in The Greeting Room on the second level of the SLC Terminal adjacent to the baggage claim area. • International flight passengers will exit the terminal's ground floor near the bottom of the escalators.

Consider the nearby stadiums, conference centers, and on-street parking because parking at the airport can be expensive. However, parking there has two advantages: it's close to the airport, and getting to the terminal takes less time. Additionally, several shuttles provide transportation to the airport and various parking lots.

The airport does not offer visitors a parking subscription as of this writing. Great parking spaces can be found on Salt Lake City's streets. Parking downtown at pay stations costs $2.25 per hour for a maximum of two hours. Additionally, parking can be paid for in advance starting at 7 am. There is no need to display the receipt in your vehicle; please wait for your ticket and take it with you. Also, a reminder that parking space at a pay station or in a 2-hour time zone may only be occupied for 2 hours per City ordinance.

Any city parking meter may be used for free parking for up to two hours if it is transporting a person with a disability and is equipped with a disability license plate or placard. The Utah Department of Motor Vehicles has the plate and placard available. Parking is not permitted where official signs or traffic markings forbid standing, stopping, or parking, such as bus stops and places designated for emergency use.

There are many different modes of getting around the airport. The Salt Lake City Airport (SLC) provides ground transportation options for all travelers. The airport is serviced by conventional ground transportation, hotel shuttles, and transportation network companies (TNCs).

Shuttles: On-site shuttle and ground transportation providers can help passengers arrange transportation from SLC. These providers are located on the terminal's ground floor. Contact any additional ground transportation service providers available to book a ride to or from the airport.

Ride-hailing services: Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) are prearranged ground transportation through a smartphone application. They provide ride-hailing services. If they possess an airport operating permit, TNCs may pick up and drop off customers at SLC. Both Uber and Lyft can operate in Salt Lake City and the airport. On the first level outside of the terminal, designated pick-up areas for TNCs are located in the middle of the traffic lane and are marked by curbside signs.

Buses: On weekdays, the airport is only partially serviced by Utah Transit Authority (UTA) route 453 from Salt Lake City to Tooele and 454 from Salt Lake City to Grantsville. On weekday mornings, Route 551 offers a limited service between the airport and the International Center. It provides a limited service between the International Center and the airport on weekday afternoons and evenings. On the curb outside the terminal are bus stops. Trains: The east side of the terminal's ground level is where you'll find the Airport to TRAX station. Passengers should head east after leaving door 1A. Typically, business hours begin at 5:32 am on weekdays and 6:25 am on weekends.

Rental cars: Salt Lake City Airport provides easy access to some rental car companies and car services. The Gateway Center, next to the parking garage and connected to the terminal by two bridges in the baggage claim area, houses rental car counters. You can choose from various on- and off-airport rental car companies if you make reservations in advance.

Hotels: Numerous hotels nearby offer a shuttle service to the airport. To find out more, speak to your hotel. Numerous hotels near the airport provide free shuttle service to and from SLC.

The Cell Phone Lot is at the Park&Wait of Salt Lake City Airport. Large electronic flight information signs with flight arrival information are available on this lot. The cell phone lot lets you wait to pick up your passenger until they arrive and call to let you know they're ready. At the airport, these parking spaces are offered without charge. While you wait for a passenger to arrive, you can take advantage of this lot to have free parking close to Salt Lake City airport.

You can call the airport Control Center at (801) 575-2401 and leave the vehicle's license plate number to locate and recover a towed vehicle. They'll check the car's status and let you know if it's been impounded or towed elsewhere.
